Words or symbols on a Web page that, when selected, take you to a new location on the Internet. Hot links can take you to a different spot on the page you are viewing, or to a new page altogether. Hot links are typically a different color or design than the rest of the text on a given page. On WebTV Plus, any word or image that you can highlight with the yellow box is a hot link.
